Executive Director/Founder

President of The Hive

What’s your day job or your main hustle?

I’m the owner of Acting Up, a creative education company that teaches kids confidence, performance, and social-emotional skills through classes, camps, and film/stage productions. We do more than teach acting - we give young people the tools to express themselves, navigate conflict, and understand their own voice.

What skills, life experience, or magic do you bring to The Hive?

I bring two decades of living and working at the intersection of creativity, communication, and community. My background spans radio, acting, coaching, program design, entrepreneurship, and advocacy - which means I know how to build platforms that amplify voices and create opportunities from scratch. I’ve spent my career helping people be seen and heard, whether that’s behind a mic, on a stage, or in a room where decisions get made. More than anything, I bring a deep belief in young people -  in their potential, their stories, and their power to change the future when someone invests in them early.

What’s something totally unrelated to work that lights you up?

Spending time with my kids, great conversation, writing something that hits someone right in the heart, and laughing until I cry over something completely dumb.

Got a fun/weird/secret talent?

I can freestyle a song about whatever’s in front of me and somehow make it catchy. Also, I give legendary pep talks - equal parts spiritual download and hype girl energy.
